Roseburg, OR – The community is invited to a Facebook Live streaming event with debut author Jennifer Greer on Thursday, September 10 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. To watch the author livestream, please go to the Roseburg Public Library’s Facebook account Facebook.com/RoseburgLibrary.

Greer is the author of “A Desperate Place,” a thriller set in Medford, Oregon, featuring journalist Whit McKenna and medical examiner detective Katie Riggs. Bestselling author Jeffery Deaver recommends the book: “A nonstop thrill ride!” says Deaver. “Turn the first page and you’re hooked. And Greer has given us one of the most memorable heroes in recent crime fiction, Whit McKenna – love her!”

Greer began her writing career as a journalist before working overseas as a foreign correspondent. She raised her children in Medford and now lives on the Oregon coast.
