City Pavement Rehabilitation Project this Summer
Roseburg, OR – The City of Roseburg Public Works Department, starting on July 14, 2020, will be rehabilitating pavements on two streets in Roseburg. The project includes the following areas.
- NE Winchester Street, from NE Stephens Street to NE Diamond Lake Boulevard.
- NE Beulah Avenue, starting at NE Central Avenue to its end.
The pavement rehabilitation work will involve a 2” grind and inlay on Winchester Street and a 2” grind inlay on Beulah Avenue. The rehabilitation work represents approximately 1.1 miles of pavement. The project also includes new ADA ramp improvements along NE Winchester Street.
City contractors, beginning Tuesday, July 14, will start work on the ADA ramp improvements along Winchester Street. Work will continue into August and September 2020. Completion of the pavement rehabilitation project is scheduled for mid-October 2020. Updates to the project schedule will be available on the City’s social media channels, Facebook and Nextdoor, and on www.CityofRoseburg.org.
During the rehabilitation project, there will be traffic and drive time impacts. Certain sections of NE Winchester Street will be closed for a time while the improvements are being made.
