Onward Roseburg is seeking volunteers to help expand its Roseburg Warming Center opening this week from Monday night, Feb. 13, through Saturday morning, Feb. 18.
City Manager Nikki Messenger and two City Councilors travelled to the Oregon state capital this week to support legislative priorities that increase local authority and help communities.

The Roseburg Warming Center will not offer overnight shelter on Monday, Jan. 23, or Tuesday, Jan. 24, after plumbing and volunteer issues forced the facility to close two days early.
The Roseburg Warming Center and Roseburg Senior Center need volunteers to help prepare meals for homeless guests and the senior center café, which is currently only open for Friday buffet lunches.
