Roseburg Public Library invites the community to learn about Nickel Mountain mining and smelting operations and remediation efforts during an in-person presentation at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15.
Little free community libraries are being installed at five Roseburg parks, thanks to a community-driven literacy project involving wood shop students, a local nonprofit and Roseburg Parks and Recreation.
Janitorial and security services will be hired for the Downtown Parking Garage following City Council OK. The Council also agreed to time limits for free parking areas in the garage and a lot.
