Evening/overnight road striping begins Sunday
ROSEBURG, OR – Roseburg Public Works’ street crews will perform evening/overnight road striping work starting Sunday, August 1.
Paint striping operations will continue throughout the month of August. The work has been scheduled Sundays through Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. to reduce impact on traffic, said Roseburg Public Works Director Brice Perkins.
On Sunday, crews will begin painting stripes on Harvard Avenue and its collector streets, which carry traffic from minor streets to arterial streets. Working in a clockwise direction, crews will then move on to Stewart Parkway and its collectors, Garden Valley Boulevard and its collectors, North Stewart Parkway and its collectors, Edenbower Boulevard and its collectors, Stephens Street and its collectors, and finally Pine Street.
The City appreciates motorists’ understanding and patience throughout the project, and reminds motorists there will be wet paint on the roadway.
