Library offers youth programs this fall
ROSEBURG, OR – Roseburg Public Library is offering a variety of youth programs for children and families starting in October.
The following programs will be offered through December:
On Tuesdays starting Oct. 5, the library will give out grab-and-go craft kits to children and families. The library building is closed to the public, so kits will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last during the library’s drive-up pickup service every Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
On Wednesdays starting Oct. 6, the library will post a new Storytime on its Facebook page, www.facebook.com/roseburglibrary, at 10:30 a.m. Youth Service Librarian Aurora Ropp’s 20-minute program features songs, finger plays and stories perfect for children aged 3 to 8.
On second and fourth Thursdays starting October 14, the library will post a new Spanish Storytime on its Facebook page at 10:30 a.m. Julia Masner’s program is short and sweet, featuring a children’s book read in Spanish that would be great for children of all ages.
Beginning Saturday, Oct. 30, and continuing into 2022, the library will post a new musical Storytime on the library’s Facebook page the last Saturday of each month at 10:30 a.m. Dr. Mark Breckenridge’s 15-minute program features a story, songs, musical instruments and a craft perfect for children aged 3 to 8.
