Spring 2023 Photo Contest now open

ROSEBURG, Ore. – The City of Roseburg invites you to enter the Spring 2023 City Connection Photo Contest.

Show how beautiful, awesome, inspiring, intriguing or downright funny Roseburg can be – and possibly get your photo featured in the Spring City Connection e-newsletter!

Anyone living in Roseburg or considered to have a Roseburg address (Melrose, Green, Lookingglass, Garden Valley and Winchester) can submit one photo taken in the Roseburg area (anywhere considered to have a Roseburg address, including Melrose, Green, Lookingglass, Garden Valley and Winchester) depicting spring. 

People living outside city limits or without a Roseburg mailing address can still enter – as long as the photo was taken within the contest area in Roseburg or anywhere considered to have a Roseburg address, which includes Melrose, Green, Lookingglass, Garden Valley and Winchester. Be sure to include the photo’s location in your entry.

The top entries will be featured in the Spring 2023 e-newsletter. All entries will be shown in the City’s online Photo Contest Archives.

Please remember: The contest is supposed to be fun! Use whatever camera you like or feel most comfortable with. But please don’t use Adobe Photoshop or other editing software to alter the appearance or reality of the photo.

Only photos submitted through the online contest submission form will be considered. Emailed photos will not be considered. The deadline to enter is Wednesday, May 24, 2023. The City reserves the right to post additional entries and to not display a photo deemed inappropriate.

RULES

WHO: Anyone living in the Roseburg area or considered to have a Roseburg address (including Melrose, Green, Lookingglass, Garden Valley and Winchester)

WHAT: Submit one JPEG photo less than 5MB, illustrating spring – March 21 through June 20 – and taken in the Roseburg area (anywhere considered to have a Roseburg address, including Melrose, Green, Lookingglass, Garden Valley and Winchester). Be sure to IDENTIFY the location of the photo when filling out the form. Additional photos won’t be considered.

HOW: Fill out this form, upload a JPEG photo less than 5MB using that link and click “submit.” A good Internet connection may be needed to upload larger photos.

DEADLINE: Wednesday, May 24, 2023
