Umpqua River Trail section closure Monday
ROSEBURG, Ore. – A damaged section of the Umpqua River Trail multiuse path between Gaddis and Deer Creek parks will close for repairs for about a week starting Monday, June 19.
Contractors will make repairs to a 250-foot damaged section of the trail known as the Deer Creek Route from mile marker .75 to mile marker 1.
Construction work will require around-the-clock closure of that section of multiuse path, but repair work will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The project is expected to be completed on Tuesday, June 27.
