Understanding Your Pay Statement

You can expect to receive an itemized pay statement with every payment of wages or salary. Oregon Senate Bill 906 requires employers to provide the following information to ensure you understand the information on your itemized pay statement. Pay period:

Monthly (1st through the end of the month)
Paydays are the Finance Department’s last working day of each month.


Workweek for purposes of overtime (if applicable): 

The basic work week for City employees begins at 12:01 a.m. on Monday and ends at midnight on Sunday.
